Fortunately, more and more public figures are deciding to openly talk about their sexuality. This is the case of these famous women who have declared to the world that they are bisexual, thus giving visibility to another way of understanding relationships.
Angelina Jolie
Actress Angelina Jolie is one of the first to take the plunge and tell the world about her understanding of sexuality. Jolie made this public in an interview with Barbara Walters and said that she could easily fall in love with a woman.
Drew Barrimore
Actress Drew Barrimore is married but she has also openly declared her bisexuality. In 2003 she told Contact magazine that she had always considered herself bisexual.
“I love a woman’s body, I think a woman and another woman together is a beautiful thing, just like I think a man and a woman together are. Being with a woman is like exploring your own body through someone else,” she said.
Anna Paquin
Actress Anna Paquin has also come out as bisexual. She is now married to Stephen Moyer, but told Zooey magazine in 2009: “For me it’s not a choice, I’m bisexual, it’s not a fabrication because I can’t decide which gender I like best.”
In April 2010, she starred in a campaign in which she said, “I am Anna Paquin, I am bisexual and I do care.”
Megan Fox
Actress Megan Fox is another of the Hollywood beauties who has declared herself bisexual. She did so for the first time in 2009 and these were her statements. “I have no doubt in my mind that I am bisexual. I am also a hypocrite: Because I would never date another bisexual girl. That would mean that she would also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I would never want to sleep with a girl who has slept with a man.”
Michelle Rodriguez
The actress opened up in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, saying, “I do what I want, I’m too curious to sit back and not try when I can. Men are interesting, women too.”
Amber Heard
The actress and former partner of Johnny Deep spoke about her sexual preferences back in 2010 at the GLAAD event. At the event, Amber said she did not classify herself in those terms but confessed to having had successful relationships with men and women.
